A proven track record within a sales environment with ability to negotiate at all levels is essential. Candidates should ideally have a print / carton background. This additional role is to enhance the current Sales team with a prime objective to bring new customers to the business. Ideal candidate should be able to demonstrate knowledge of all areas of carton construction and estimating. An understanding of all the production processes from print to conversion is essential with particular emphasis on carton design and layout. The role involves working to strict deadlines whilst using communication skills with always eye for detail. This important position offers an attractive salary and package .
Person required for a standard 37 ½ hours week, being a five day week (Monday to Friday). Any hours worked in excess of the normal hours shall be paid at overtime rates. It is anticipated that some overtime will be required on a regular basis. The position is permanent subject to a trail period. The company have a fleet of vehicles which are a combination of rigids and drawbars as well as a 7 1/2 tonne delivery van. Overnight work is not required. Knowledge of warehousing and stock procedures would be advantageous. The person ideally will have a good education and interpersonal skills. We are seeking motivated staff. The role involves primarily driving the 7 1/2 tonne lorry with warehouse duties. The company will consider applicants that have either driving experience or warehousing skills. Candidates that may hold a LGV Class 1 driver (C + E) are also welcome to apply but this qualification is not a necessity.
