Packaging petfood in carton board rather than plastic bags dramatically reduces the amount of plastic being created by the pet care industry.
Coatings are available on a range of carton board substrates that help prevent grease and oil migration from the petfood to the outside of the carton.
Carton board is perfectly capable of holding petfood content in excess of 1.5kg in weight without effecting the structure of the packaging.
