Food Hygiene Certification

BRC Surveillance Audit and Health Food Hygiene Certificate

Kingston Carton has recently received its second Surveillance Audit, following the certification of the BRC/IoP Technical Standard in November 2002. The results from the initial audit last November reported zero non-compliances and only seven observations. The results of the latest Surveillance Audit, again reported zero non-compliances and only two minor observations.

The auditor from Q.A. International Certification, Brian Peckett said, "Kingston Carton obtained an excellent report and everyone should be very proud of what they have achieved".

The auditor, Brian Peckett noted how pleased he was that "Kingston Carton have clearly taken onboard all previous comments and the improvements can be easily seen."
He went on further to say, "Kingston Carton are an excellent example for the industry and the factory is a credit to all employees".

Arend Buitendam would like to thank everyone for their effort and stresses the need for continuous improvement in all matters regarding hygiene.
To continue these improvements in hygiene Arend Buitendam (Managing Director), Gary Tebbutt (Hygiene Manager), Phil Metcalfe (Deputy Hygiene Manager), Jonathan Green (Quality Manager) and Alan Smith (Factory Manager) have entered and passed the Royal Society for the Promotion of Health Food Hygiene Certificate.
