Gary Tebbutt, Hygiene Manager said "This will help ensure that our customers receive their cartons in an excellent, hygienic condition that is suitable for the intended purpose, an issue that is more relevant than ever before due to the stringent controls in place and high standards required for food packaging materials".
The RSPH Hygiene Certificate has given managers knowledge of possible contamination routes for food and food packaging and has also described the consequences to the consumer if this should happen.
Gary Tebbutt went on further to say "All employees in the company have now been trained further in food hygiene issues, not only to maintain the current high standards but ensure continuous improvement".
