Kingston Carton is now a member of SEDEX, the Supplier Ethical Data Exchange and we are committed to continuous improvement of the ethical performance of our supply chains.
Sedex will enable us to manage efficiently the ethical and responsible practices of our global supply chains, generating transparency through the provision of a secure, robust, and user-friendly data exchange. We achieved ISO14001 accreditation in October 2010. ISO14001 ensures that all legal requirements are complied with and that continual improvement is achieved year on year with pollution prevention and reduction in the use of non sustainable resources being priorities. A list has been drawn up of all relevant legislation that applies to Kingston Carton.
We place great importance in on-going staff training so that every person at Kingston Carton is fully aware of the expected high standards in every area of their work. Every aspect of the awards is implemented and their allied procedural systems followed during every part of the production process. Internal and external audits are a regular occurrence at Kingston Cartons, and we welcome customer visits at any time.
Kingston Carton has often been awarded 'Top Supplier' by many of our major customers. We pride ourselves on achieving these accolades whether from global healthcare giant Smith & Nephew or our medium size customers. The company always aims to achieve the highest standard it can from its customers as can be seen when it gained an 'A' Vendor Rating from Warburton Bakeries.
